  • Put the citation at the end of the paraphrased paragraph to acknowledge where you got the idea from.
    Just one citation is enough at the end of paragraph if paraphrased from the same source.
    If the paragraph contains paraphrased information from more than one source, then put the citations at the end of each sentence for their respective sources.
    Explanation:
    Example: If your paragraph contains information from the same source (though in your own words), you still need to acknowledge the original author by using the author’s last name and the year of publication, and page number if available (APA citation).
