Smooth ER
Explanation
Endoplasmic reticulum is divided into two; the rough endoplasmic reticulum and the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. Proteins are synthesized by rough endoplasmic reticulum, and packaged and transported by the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. The smooth endoplasmic reticulum also create vesicles that can be used to synthesize phospholipids to grow the membrane, and has enzymes that are responsible in the degradation of inorganic toxins like alcohol and drugs. The organelle is highly prevalent in the hepatocytes or liver cells; an organ responsible in removing toxins from the blood.
